Hotels and flights, yes: both are booked and paid for on this site through our booking partner, with the reservation held by the hotel or airline. Cruises, trains, ferries, cars and tours are booked on the provider’s own website, under their terms.
Do you show live prices or availability?
In the booking area, yes — live hotel rooms and airfares from our partner’s inventory. The guides themselves publish no fares, because a price printed on a page is out of date within days; for everything we do not sell, the provider’s own search is the authoritative one.
How does AirOrSeaTravel make money?
Two ways. On hotels and flights booked here we earn a margin that is already in the price shown. On other travel, some provider links pay us a commission when a reader books, at no extra cost to the reader. As of 11 September 2026, links to Expedia are affiliate links and earn us a commission when a booking completes. Every other outbound link goes to the provider’s ordinary public website and earns nothing. See the affiliate disclosure for the full list.

If you booked it here, use manage a booking. If you booked on another site we have no access to it: contact whoever charged your card — the airline, hotel, ferry operator, cruise line, or the agency you bought through. Who to contact for each kind of problem.
Are the journey times on this site reliable?
They are approximate and labelled as such. Every guide lists the operator, airport or port authority the figures came from and the date we checked them. Operators change timetables without notice, so confirm anything time-critical on the operator’s own site.
Which travel categories does the site cover?
Nine: flights, hotels and stays, trains, buses, car rentals, ferries, cruises, tours and excursions and attraction tickets. There is also a event tickets page for concerts, sport and theatre.

When you follow a link from here, you leave this site and deal directly with an airline, a rail operator, a ferry company, a hotel or an online travel agency. Their terms, their prices, their cancellation rules, their customer service.
If you already have a booking and something has gone wrong with it, contact the company that took your money — they are the only ones who can fix it. We keep a short list of who to chase for the common cases.
